What a sweet pet and family photography session this was!
I met Joanne two years ago at the Pet Lovers Market ; every time I saw her, she would tell me that she wanted to get pet family photos done with her grandkids included in the photoshoot.
To her mother's surprise, her daughter Lisa gifted her a session early this year. Joanne was over the moon with excitement, and she told me that she wanted a fall family pet picture.
During The Family Dog Photoshoot
We went to a beautiful park in Burlington, Ontario, that is gorgeous for family portraits with dogs in the fall. This park offers many little spots, perfect for capturing family pet pictures.
The Dashhound, Shelby, was the star of the show. Joanne has the same thinking that I do: pets are part of the family. Her grandkids were also stoled the show. Their enthusiasm and excitement of being there made it easy and fun to create beautiful memories of all of them together.
Shelby was kept on the leash at all times, safety always comes first and this beautiuful supermodel was rewarded being shots with delicious healthy treats and I gave him play time. As a pet photographer I find it important to give dogs play time, so they can have fun during their dog family photos.
During the family and pet photography session, I captured many images of Shelby alone, Shelby with the grandkids, and the whole family together.
