Woodbridge Family and Pet Photographer: Lily’s Story

End-of-Life Pet Photographer

As an end of life pet photographer, my role is more than taking photos; it's about preserving the unique bond you share with your beloved pet. Recently, I had the privilege of meeting Lily, a sweet family dog facing liver failure.

This session was recommended by someone who met me at the Canadian Pet Expo, highlighting the importance of connection and trust in this delicate work.

Sabrina, Lily’s owner, contacted me with urgency. They didn’t know how much longer they had with Lily, and we arranged to meet at a park in Woodbridge for her end of life dog photography session.

Family Pictures with Dogs

The park in Woodbridge set the stage for this special session. It was a cold day, so I worked quickly to ensure Lily’s comfort while creating lasting memories. Lily’s vibrant spirit shone through in every shot. I captured her solo pet portraits, moments with each family member, and heartwarming family pictures with dogs.

Despite the chilly air, the warmth of their love for Lily was undeniable. These images will serve as timeless reminders of her place in their family.

Pet Portraits in Woodbridge

Although I’m not based in Woodbridge, I often travel to ensure families like Sabrina’s have meaningful family and pet photos. This session highlighted the importance of cherishing your pet before they cross the rainbow bridge.

“In using Canovas Photography for our family dog Lily's end of life photo shoot we came to realize how amazing Sharon was with not only our family but with Lily. My cousin had recommend Sharon to us after meeting her at the Pet Expo and instantly connecting with her. She is so detailed, sweet, and most importantly LOVES what she does. You feel this when speaking with her, and through her photography. On the day of the photo shoot, she was very kind to brave the cold with us, and was really patient with Lily- we loved seeing that. She took the time to understand how much Lily is loved and treated as another little human in our family and offered a lot of words of advice and encouragement during this diffcult time.

We will hold onto these photos of Lily forever and we are so thankful to Sharon for capturing these beautiful memories."
