When Patrick reached out to me, he wanted to give his wife a special Mother’s Day gift: a family photoshoot session at Rockway Gardens, a place that holds sentimental value for them as it’s where they had their engagement photos taken. The Photo Session Experience
During our consultation, I had the chance to learn about Patrick, his family, and their pets. Patrick mentioned they had three dogs and a baby who needed to be in bed by 7 pm. Because of this, I adjusted the timing of our session to start earlier than usual for summer photoshoots.
To help Patrick and his family prepare, I sent them a "How to Get Ready" guide. This guide offered tips on what to wear and how to prepare their dogs for the photoshoot.
Since managing three dogs and a baby is a big task, I brought along a friend to assist me. This extra help allowed me to focus on capturing special moments of the couple and their little one, as well as creating beautiful images of the three of them together.
Special Moments from Our Pet and Family Photoshoot
Patrick wanted candid moments for their family photoshoot with their pets. To achieve this, I prepared several prompts to ensure their portraits looked natural and not posed.
One of the special moments was when Patrick and his wife played with their daughter, capturing their genuine laughter and love. The three dogs were a big part of the shoot, and we managed to get some great shots of the family interacting with them.
