Mother's Day is all about celebrating the people you love most—and that includes your pets.
As a Niagara pet photographer, I had the honour of capturing a special family and pet photoshoot at the breathtaking TASC Tulip Farm.
With endless rows of vibrant tulips in bloom, it was the perfect setting for a spring session full of colour and connection.

A Day To Remember At TASC
This family wanted to celebrate Mother's Day with something meaningful: a photo session that included every member of their crew—mom, dad, their two kids, and their dog friend, Webber.
They're currently training a dog to become a service animal. If the dog does not pass the test, the plan is to officially adopt him. No matter what happens, he's already part of their story.

What We Focused On
During our time at TASC, we created three types of images to capture the full picture of their family:
- Just the family – candid moments and sweet smiles between mom, dad, and their kids.
- Family photos with pets – the kind of images that show how much pets are truly part of the family.
- Individual pet portraits – a few beautiful shots of their dog to honour the journey they're on together.

The tulip farm was a dream location.
Surrounded by bold colours, the kids laughed, the dog posed (and sometimes got distracted by the flowers), and the parents just took it all in.
These are the types of memories that last.
Why Kids Photography Matter
As a Niagara pet photographer who also specializes in kid's photography, I always recommend families capture moments as their children grow. Here's why:
- They change fast – You'll never regret freezing a moment in time.
- It tells your family story – Photos help show how each stage looked and felt.
- Confidence building – When kids see themselves in beautiful images, it helps boost their self-esteem.

Final Thoughts
This session was a great reminder that family photos with pets aren't just about the smiles—they're about honouring the everyday moments and the relationships that matter most.
Whether your pet is in training, recently adopted, or has been with you for years, they're family too.
If you're looking to plan a family and pet photoshoot, I would love to help you create memories.
