A Puppy Photoshoot At Lowville Park
Puppies do not stay small for long, and the Marshall family knew it.
They had just welcomed Roxy into their home, and before the chaos of the first few months could blur together, they wanted it documented.
As a dog photographer who has worked with dogs at every stage of life, I can tell you that puppy sessions carry a particular kind of energy.
Everything is new. Everything is a little unpredictable. And the photos are always worth it.

What Is a Puppy Photography Session Like?
We spent an early morning at Lowville Park in Burlington, Ontario, moving through different spots along the trail to capture Roxy and her family in a variety of natural settings.
She stayed on leash throughout the session, which is standard for all of my outdoor dog photography sessions.
The leash is removed during editing, so the final portraits look clean and natural. Every session follows the dog's pace, regardless of age or energy level. Roxy had energy to spare, and we kept up with her.
Getting Roxy to look at the camera was easy. As a professional pet photographer, I have quite a few tricks to capture a dog's attention, and Roxy was no exception.

Why Book a Puppy Photography Session?
The puppy stage goes by faster than anyone warns you.
The tiny paws, the oversized ears, the way they throw themselves into everything with zero hesitation. That version of your dog exists for a very short window, and most people only realize it once it has already passed.
A professional puppy photography session gives you artwork that holds onto exactly who they were at the beginning. The Marshall family will have these portraits of Roxy for the rest of her life, and one day they will be grateful they did not wait.
If you just welcomed a new dog home, now is the time.
Reach out, and we will plan something before this chapter closes.
