This past weekend, I enjoyed being part of Save Our Scruff’s 10th-anniversary event at the beautiful West Avenue Cider House. As a pet and family photographer, I was thrilled to capture portraits of families and their rescue dogs. It was a heartwarming day filled with smiles, laughter, and the undeniable bond between people and their dogs.
About Save Our Scruff
For those who don’t know, Save Our Scruff is a dog rescue organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving homes for dogs in need. The 10th Anniversary Celebration
The 10th-anniversary event at West Avenue Cider House was a huge success. The cider house’s beautiful outdoor space was the perfect setting for families and their dogs to come together and celebrate. It was a day filled with joy as so many people showed up to support this amazing cause.
There were plenty of activities for both people and their dogs. The sense of community was incredible, with everyone coming together to celebrate not only the success of Save Our Scruff but also the relationships they’ve built with their dogs. As I wandered through the crowd, it was clear that each family saw their dog as more than just a pet—they were indeed a part of the family.
