I received an email from a client inquiring about End Of Life Pet Photography Session. Their beloved family cat, Jack, had been diagnosed with a rapidly advancing cancer, and time was ticking.
I often receive emails or phone calls like this, and they become my top priority.
I replied promptly and scheduled a call with Jack's mom the next day. During our consultation, she shared her uncertainty about how much time Jack had left. Recognizing the urgency, I accommodated her last-minute request, understanding its importance.
The photoshoot session was held in the comfort of Jack's home. Their beautiful backyard provided the perfect backdrop, allowing me to capture the moments around Jack's favourite chair to Jack's favourite spots to explore.
During the photoshoot session, I took numerous photos of Jack by himself and also with his family. Each family member had their own special moments captured with Jack.
Jack's dad mentioned that whenever he fired up the barbecue, Jack would patiently wait for his favourite "The Keg Burger." I captured these moments, with Jack eagerly anticipating his treat and his dad feeding it to him.
It was a true pleasure to document Jack for his family.

Jack's Mom Testimonial
“
During an emotional time, we reached out to Sharon looking for someone to do an end of life photography session of our beautiful and much loved cat, Jack. From the very beginning, Sharon was a pleasure to work with. She responded to my intial inquiry within minutes and was very accommodating in scheduling a session right away in order to get our photos done. Her response time and ability to accommoate a session quickly really meant a lot to us as we knew we had limited days left with our boy. She never once gave the "it's just a business" vibe - she is a profoundly caring individual who genuinely enjoys what she does. It is easy to see her love of animals - she was so kind and patient with our precious little old man. All of the pictures she captured are beautiful. The only difficult part of working with Sharon was having to decide which photos we loved the best! We are so blessed to have the georgous photo memories of our special boy. Thank you Canovas Photography.
