Cat Photography Session
This year, Selena's birthday gift was a cat photoshoot.
Her family booked her a Cozy Memory Session, a cat portrait session she could do outdoors or in my home studio, and she picked the studio.
What is a Cozy Memory Session
I created a Cozy Memory Session for the winter months, and it runs every year from January through April.
It is a short session, just thirty minutes long, and clients can choose to shoot outdoors in the winter weather or inside my home studio.
Selena chose the studio, and she travelled all the way from Norfolk County to spend that half hour with Miso.
In Studio Cat Photography
Cats do not always settle into a new space right away.
This was in-studio cat photography, so I took my time letting Miso get used to the smells and the environment around him before we started shooting.
Once he was comfortable, this cat photoshoot became more playful, and we coaxed him into a few poses. Some of the strongest images turned into cat and owner portraits, simply Selena and Miso together.
In this studio cat session, one of my favourite shots is her holding him the way she probably does every day at home.
