What Your Pet's Headshot Session Includes
From the first call to the final images, here is exactly what the session covers.

Pre-Shoot Consultation Call

Before the session, we talk. We go through your pet's casting type, their energy level, and exactly what their agent or manager needs from these images. The session is planned, not improvised.

Commercial Use License

Full rights to use your images for professional representation, casting submissions, and agency profiles.

Multiple Looks

We work through a range of expressions and angles. You leave with options for different submission types — not one image that has to do everything.

All Species Welcome

Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits — if your animal has a career, they qualify. Every session is designed to be calm and safe for any animal.

3 Professionally Retouched Headshots

High-resolution digital files, web-size digitals professionally retouched and ready for agency submissions and casting profiles.

One-Hour Studio or Outdoor Session

A focused one-hour session — studio or outdoor, decided together during your consultation call. We work at your pet's pace to capture them looking natural and at their absolute best.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This session is not open to the public.

To be considered, your pet must have a current agent or verifiable credits in film, television, or commercial production. You will be asked to provide one of the following before your spot is confirmed.

  • Your pet has a current agent or talent manager
  • Your pet has appeared in a film, TV show, or commercial production
  • You can provide an agency contract, a letter of representation, or a verifiable production credit
  • You are ready to submit proof at the time of booking

Not sure if your pet qualifies? Reach out before booking, and we'll let you know.

About Your Photographer

Hi,

I'm  Sharon

I'm Sharon Canovas — stunt performer, stunt coordinator, and the photographer behind Canovas Photography. With over 100 film and television credits, I've worked on productions including RoboCop, Frankenstein, The Umbrella Academy, Supernatural, Brilliant Minds, and Arrow to name a few.

A good professional image matters. A phone photo taken in the backyard is not the same as a well-lit, properly composed photo that shows your pet spirit — the kind of image that represents them the way their career deserves.

What counts as proof of representation or film work?

An agency contract, a letter from your pet's agent or manager, an IMDB credit, or a link to a commercial, film, or television project your pet has appeared in. If you're not sure whether your pet qualifies, reach out before booking.

What species are accepted?

All of them. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits — if they have a career, they're welcome. Sessions are designed to be calm and comfortable for any animal.

Is the session studio or outdoor?

Both options are available. We decide together during your consultation call based on your pet's personality, their casting type, and what their agent needs most. There is no extra charge for either option.

What if my pet doesn't cooperate on the day?

That's what the consultation call is for. We talk through your pet's personality and energy level ahead of time so we're prepared. On the day, we work at their pace — there's no rushing.

How long does the session take?

The session is one hour.

What if I have more than one pet?

Each additional pet is $150. Every animal included in the session must also meet the eligibility requirement — proof of an agent or verifiable film, TV, or commercial credits is required for each pet.

Can family members be included in the session?

This session is for the pet only. If you're looking for a family and pet session, head over to our outdoor pet and family session page.

Can I submit an image or IMDB link when I book?

Yes. When you apply, you can include a link to your pet's IMDB page, agency profile, or attach an image of their agency contract. This is the fastest way to confirm your eligibility and secure your spot.

If your pet is working,
Their images should be too.

This session is offered exclusively to pets with professional representation or film credits. Spots are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
